PLDT ENTERPRISE has partnered with Metro Pasay Hospital and Medical Center to manage and upgrade its digital systems, aiming to improve network reliability and internal communications across hospital operations.
“Reliable connectivity and communication are essential in delivering quality healthcare,” PLDT Enterprise Assistant Vice-President Dennis G. Magbatoc said in a statement on Monday.
“By supporting Metro Pasay Hospital with dependable, scalable digital solutions, we are enabling healthcare small and medium enterprises to operate with confidence and focus on what matters most — patient care,” he added.
The collaboration will boost the hospital’s digital infrastructure to support secure access to patient data and improve coordination between departments, PLDT said.
PLDT Enterprise will deploy enterprise connectivity tools, including iGate and SIP trunk solutions, to support voice and data services and improve call management systems.
The partnership reflects growing demand among healthcare providers for more resilient digital infrastructure as hospitals expand electronic systems for records, billing and patient coordination.
PLDT Inc. is the country’s biggest integrated telecommunication provider, serving enterprise clients through PLDT Enterprise across sectors including healthcare, finance and logistics.
The initiative also aligns with the broader push by hospitals and clinics to modernize operations as patient volumes rise and administrative systems become more data-dependent.
Shares of PLDT closed at P1,156 on Monday, up P7 or 0.61% from the previous session.
