MONEYHERO GROUP’s local subsidiary Moneymax has sealed a partnership with East West Banking Corp. (EastWest Bank) to expand access to personal financing products.
Under the partnership, EastWest Bank’s personal loan products will be available on the Moneymax personal finance comparison platform.
Moneymax users may start the loan application process on the platform, with details transmitted to EastWest Bank for processing.
“This partnership strengthens our personal loan offering in the Philippines and reinforces Moneymax’s role as a comparison platform for consumers evaluating borrowing options. By working with EastWest, we are able to connect more Filipinos with established lenders through a clear and efficient application journey,” MoneyHero Group Chief Commercial Officer Shravan Thakur said in a statement on Tuesday.
“EastWest has always focused on building banking solutions that are practical and designed around the everyday financial needs of Filipinos,” EastWest Chief Executive Officer Jerry N. Go said. “Our partnership with Moneymax allows us to bring this approach to customers at the point where they are actively exploring financing options, connecting them to personal loan solutions that are supported by the service strength of a full-service universal bank.”
Moneymax added that the partnership looks to leverage the fast-growing consumer lending market in the Philippines.
