SUZUKI PHILIPPINES, INC. (SPH) grows its Carry lineup with the introduction of two new purpose-built variants designed “to address the specialized transport and mobility requirements of organizations, local government units, and institutional users,” according to the company in a release.
The new Suzuki Carry PUV Class 1 and Suzuki Carry Patrol Van capitalize on the known practicality of the Carry platform, with the configurations suited for passenger transport and public-service applications. The Carry PUV Class 1 (P849,000) is said to be designed for organizations looking for a “practical and purpose-built” people mover. It features side entry with removable doors and canvas cover, wide windows with roll-up canvas, side-facing seats, and high headroom.
The vehicle comes equipped with a fire extinguisher and is Department of Transportation (DoTr)-certified and compliant with PNS 2131:2018 — Public Utility Vehicles Class 1: Dimensional Standard.
The configuration makes the Carry PUV Class 1 suitable for transport cooperatives, resorts, local government units, and other organizations that require this type of passenger vehicle.
On the other hand, the Carry Patrol Van (P822,000) can support the “mobility and operational requirements” of LGUs, barangays, and other organizations requiring a dedicated patrol or public-service vehicle. It is equipped with a reversible seat, checkered plate flooring, roll-up canvas covers with locks, embedded sidestep, and siren with PA system and blinker. The Patrol Van provides seating for 10 passengers, including the driver. These features make it a practical option for patrol operations, community assistance, and other public-service activities that require a versatile and functional vehicle.
With these new additions, available through authorized auto dealerships, SPH said it gives organizations and institutional customers more choices within the Carry lineup, providing practical mobility solutions designed around their specific needs.
